Fall Family Fun Bucket List
Fall is a favorite season for many!
Cooler weather, comfort flavors, changing leaf colors, and a return to routines are a few welcomed favorites during this cozy season. I, personally, love the kickstart to the excitement of the coming holidays – Halloween to Thanksgiving to Christmas.
Fall is often marked with scented candles, sweaters, boots, campfires, apple-picking, pumpkin carving, and football games to name a few! Our family has a few traditions that we do every year, and this has turned into a fall bucket list of activities we look forward to.
Keep it Simple
The internet is full of countless ideas of all the ways we can make sure we are having enough fun with our families. But I challenge you to not get caught up in the hustling and bustling and spending (time and energy and money). Relax, breathe, go on a nature walk, sit by a fire, reflect…just enjoy the time with family and friends.
It’s the first day of autumn! A time of hot chocolatey mornings, and toasty marshmallow evenings, and, best of all, leaping into leaves!

Be Intentional
When creating our family fun bucket list for this year, I tried to incorporate activities that would enrich and nourish our souls and spirits and minds. Truthfully, these are things that we would likely do even without a list. However, the anticipation of seeing the activities is half the fun. My kids love to look at the bucket list and see what they have to look forward to . I’m convinced there is just as much fun to be had in simple, intentional pleasures as there is in elaborate or spontaneous adventures. Balance.
I’m sharing our family fall fun bucket list to show just how simple it can be to enjoy the fall season. No need to over-extend yourself or your children.
If you haven’t already, I encourage you to make a simple list of intentional activities to do with your family this year. Or, to make it even simpler, you are welcome to download the one I’ve shared!
